Great grain texture and light. Not enough detail, though. It's a strain to look at for long.
-
Good colour and composition, though the water looks almost too smokey, if possible.

Great tone, depth of field, and composition!
-
Good for a book, but as a photograph, the composition is average and the lighting is nothing special. It does show the details of the bug well, though.
-
As with the other, great depth of field and colour, but I've seen a zillion photos just like this. It's not terribly original.

Great depth of field and colour.

A bit bright, but good angle. It almost looks circular, eh?

I wouldn't have used flash. The lighting is too bright and frontal, and you can see the reflection in her eyes. If possible, put a halogen lamp beside her, outside of the shot, of course, and then turn on the lights in an adjacent room, or dim the lights in the room if possible. That should eliminate the need for flash and add some interesting sidelighting. I do the same thing with still lifes.

Nice! Good composition, what with the tree and all. It's a bit bright, though. Try underexposing this same shot by a stop. It makes B&W look really dramatic. Have a look at an underexposed photo I took:(don't look at the attachment; it's too big)

There's nothing really wrong with it, but it's an uninteresting shot. Composition is nothing special, and the lighting is too diffuse to really be interesting.

As already said, the tone is great. Wonderful depth of field, too. I might have shown less wall, though.

Nice! Your focus seems a bit off, or maybe the camera shook a little, but aside from that, it's very good. You got just the right angle and light.

Wow, thanks for all the rating and critiques, guys! I was really not expecting an average photo like this to get so much exposure(ha ha) in, what, two hours? I like the focus too. f/22, doncha know. I agree about the contrast - in retrospect it would have been good to have some sidelighting.

Actually, not so much. Really I just want my work seen. :) Though
please tell me what you would change about it.

Isn't this a Dead Kennedies album cover?
-
Okay, you know what? Someone has to tell me how to get that really smooth tone, because I freaking love it. Great shot, man.
-
I love these photos were everything appears so smooth. I can never get that! Great work.

Great photo. Normally I wouldn't show so much sky, but here it definitely works. Great silhouettes, too.
