A sunset out my window, with WB set for tungsten. Let me know what you
think.

Cottontop tamarin in the zoo. I know it's awfully grainy, but it was
indoors and the light was TERRIBLE. At ISO 1600, I barely got 1/60 of
a second.

Taken out my window with a white balance that's, I think, meant for
fluorescent lighting. It gives things a nice frosty tone, I recently
found out. Please comment.
-
My first picture after discovering tungsten white balance. I'm
thinking I'm going to do a project on it. I don't know that I like
this photo much, but I wanted to get it started.

Flash. That's what reflects. Boring composition, flash illuminates him too much, the background not enough, and the coke can is a distracting element.

Well, I was taking a walk through the park and I saw this old lady
wearing a really arresting, um, like gyspy sorta type dealie. I
adjusted the levels at home. Please comment.
-
Levels adjustment from the first edit. It might not look like much,
but compare it with the original.

Some burros in a ranch in the kootenays. I adjusted the levls with
the GIMP.
-
Thank you. I thought so too.
-
Man, ever since I started thinking about it my photos looks so muddy
and low-contrast. I used unsharp mask and adjusted the levels, which
helped a bit.
-
Man, I freaking love unsharp mask. It makes EVERYTHING look better.
-
Looking at the other for the second time, I realized that the colour
and contrast sucked, so I converted it to B&W, darkened it, and added
an unsharp mask. Let me know if this one is any better.

No, it is a sheep. THIS is a mountain goat.

This is a female mountain sheep.

Please comment, especially if you don't like it.

I would have reduced the depth of field a bit, but the composition is great. Aside from that, it's nothing exceptional.

If you look at the last one, you can see that the shadow at the top
of the corner of the porche is only at the top, so I made the whole
thing in shadow to accentuate the light. Plus, you could tell it was
edited before. I also took the address off the mailbox and the
doorbell and lock off the door just to make it more old fashioned
looking. I tried to get the snow shovels but I don't have that kind
of skill.
-
The snow in the corner of the frame in the original was bugging the
hell out of me, so I edited it out. Let me know if you like this one
any better.
