And they are back :-)

-

When I posted they were selling for 1199. But as I mentioned, they don't last long.

They have only 5, if you were looking for one get it now before they're gone again.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042X9LC4

Also the kit with the lens :

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0042X9LCO

I was in the exact same boat a little while ago. My Fuji S2 crapped out as well and I ended up ordering a D7000 ( which incidentally is again in stock right now : D7000 ). I decided I'll just use the live view when I want to see a bigger image. For me the D700 was too expensive to justify.

What is the difference?

The elusive Nikon D7000 body is now in stock at Amazon! Get it before it's gone. Again....

This is the reason I will never buy an Epson printer ever again. Unless they make them with user replaceable heads (like Canon). I had this problem with 2 printers (1270, 1280) and I could find no fix.

I doubt you will be offered more then a half of the amount you are hoping to get. I would also (and always did) sell the stuff on eBay

If you are happy with the lens, why f*** with it?

-

You can get around it if you want. You can use available proxies or create your own proxy on your home computer.

-

No. You could not use the fp-100 in the 550 either, you need the 405. The fp-100C45 can be used in the 550

You do have the option to outsource that kind of work.

Contact cement should work great.

A DIY Camera Bellows Kit will be soon available here : http://www.diycamerakit.com/product_info.php?products_id=1 .
I do have a vested interest as it's my website/product.

Faster lens wide open, use max ISO setting, practice panning (make motion blur a "feature"). Without flash, not a lot of options.

-

> Another note: most of these Plustek and Pacific Image dedicated scanners are cheaper than an Epson V700.
This may be a a clue. Cheaper is generally a good indication of lower quality. In this case, it's definitely true.

That's how I'm using mine but I don't put any water. You do need to wight it down a bit though, I use two small sandbags.

I can understand that, I also think a forum specifically designed for service/product providers to announce new products would be useful. This way, users will not be bugged unless they subscribe to that forum.
Anyway, sorry for the misunderstanding.

I'm preparing to offer a new LF product and I made a post in the large format forum, in the "New products" section. It promptly dissapeard. Are these types of posts not allowed?

There are also those horrible "zooms" on ebay.

I have the lens. I like it but it's not anywhere near a pro level Nikkor. I never used the 18-135 Nikkor, so I can't compare

>The motor is wear point and Nikon is not known as a company that makes parts available for older equipment.
Really, because I purchased several times parts directly from Nikon for things that have been out of production for decades. Not to mention that so far Nikon it's been the ONLY company (from those I asked) that was willing to sell directly to me, as an end user, parts for their products. This is in part the reason they have my business.

I can't seem to find any current emulsions over 400iso. What would you recommend for push processing? Am I
missing any products?

What is sad is that most people (see comments) don't grasp the importance of having a free press, not one threatened with arrest in the name of "safety"/"order"/etc
The D7000 body only is in stock at Amazon now!
