  1. Hi!

I would like to upgrade my small Canon printer to something bigger that could

print the sizes I need for my own production and few contracts. I have locate

a Epson Stylus Pro 7600 that fits my needs and in very good shape (visually).

I would like to know how much to pay for it, what to look for when I will

inspect it and if there was major issue for not buying that Epson model? thanks

  2. I tried 3 times to format the card but it did not work out. the (cha) is still on the lcd sreen and the non-useable card indication is still on the camera monitor. Anything else I could try? My others cards work perfectly with my camera. thanks
  3. I agree with Mary.

Both facts are true in absolute physics way, the smaller the aperture the bigger the diffraction and better the DOF. But, can you see the difference of sharpness between f8 and f22? If no, shoot at the aperture you want. If yes, I recommend to you to shoot at f8 and to have a nice DOF use a stacking software such as Helicon or Combine ZM this will allow you to make a fusion of many of the same images but in each images the only settings you change is the postion of the DOF with the focusing ring of your macro lense.

  4. I plan to buy a new body in the weeks to come. I'm a Nikon user since 1991 and

    happy about it (F601, F-801, D70s).

The S5 is made from the D200 body and have a better ccd and better Mpix count

(12 instead of the 10 for the D200)and they are about same price. Why not go

for the S5? Any advise are welcomed.

I heard that the fuji raw file from S5 is quite difficult to work with. Is PS

able to open it and work with thse files? Also, I read ( in Black and White

photography magazine) that the S5 as an output resolution of 12.1 Mpix but that

resolution chart test showed that it captures the same amount of details as the

D200 ccd of 10 Mpix (I really dont understand that part of the article....

    thanks.

  5. I have a 6.1 Mpix image that is ok when printing at size of 8x10 and 11x14. I

would like to go bigger so I used Irfanview resizing tool for a size print of

27.5 in.X39.25 in. DPI drop to 72 dpi, that is normal but how will it look on

    the print?

Also, how do I sharpen that kind of resize image? Do I need to sharpen images

that no interpolation is involved (my regular 8x10 print)? thank you.

  6. I'll try to find a way cause I'm of the few that works with Capture NX. Also, I contacted Nikon support and i let you know their answers ASAP :

  7. My DSLR produces 6.1 Mpix files. I've got really good prints at 8x10 and

11x14. I would like to go bigger maybe to 27x39. I'm sure it is too big for

my 6.1 Mpix file but I would like to know if with good interpolation I could

reach that size (27x39). I never worked with interpolation software so any

suggestions are welcomed on wich to use and how!

Also, why is stair interpolation better than upsampling one time to the size

    you want??? thanks
