It is another wonderful image Gordon. I like the processing and the composition. While a girl and her dog has all the pitfalls of terminal cuteness, here you have avoided it. I think it is because she does not look adoringly toward the pup. In fact, it seems the emotion is much more complicated, which adds depth to the image. The textures on the bask and the framing of the dog are all wonderful. Nicely done. Dan -

Hi Boyd. It is a beautiful image from an amazing location. I like the left-right composition. I like the mix of chocolate and blue tones. Because of the back lighting off to the left it is tough. The dynamic range blows out the clouds while the foreground is a bit dark. I have attached a version in which I tried to lighted the foreground. I also upped the color saturation a bit. Finally I added a bit of vignetting to darken the blown-out clouds. Please feel free to delete my comment if you don't like the suggestion. Any way you look at it, it is an amazing shot. Nicely done.
