It's an interesting twist on the canyon series. The light beams coming down are nice, but for some reason they seem distracting. I'm not sure how I would have done it differently. The areas where the light blows out are pretty good too.

I like this shot. i was trying to take some similar ones today, and I think this works well.

what is it?

I agree with the comment below. If the focus were corrected, this would be very nice shot.

I was taking the same exact type of pictures today. If it helps, I found that the only time this setup starts to look interesting is when the bee is still in midflight, but near the flower.

It's nice. I would have increased the exposure time to get a clearer view of the foreground and get longer trails on the fireworks. I tripod would have helped a lot too.

I think the idea is good, but the model looks emotionless. was that the intention? Maybe scared or in pain might have been better. I'm not sure. The lighting I do like. If the arm had been in focus, or had it showed some motion bur instead that would have been nice too.

Night shots are one of my favorites. The only advice I can give is not set white balance if you're shooting RAW (do that in PS later), but set the white balance very carefully if you're shooting Jpeg otherwise the colors will look strange and harder to adjust. There is a ton of stuff out there on doing night shots, so there plenty to read up on.

I guess a more intereting sky would have helped. It's not a bad picture, just a ordinary I guess. I have that problem too, so I'm not trying to sound insulting.

Yeah, me too. Sorry if I cannot say anything more constructive. The washed out cigarette is nice.

It's a real nice picture, although I think it would have been a lot nicer had it been left in color, especially with foreground as a silhouette.

Very nice. The exposure is on the money. If you only you had a completely clear view of the stage, this picture would be excellent.
-
dark and gloomy just the way I like it. Nice shot.

I like the light source coming from the top. It would have been nice if the shilouette of the player had been more defined, but without a light coming from the back it would be hard to achieve.

superimposing the viewer makes it much more interesting. I like it.

More DOP would have definitively made this image better. Maybe close the aperture and use a flashlight? I do like dark background though. It's a good picutre overall.
Look at me!
