I also like it the way it is, I see no reason to move the horizon up if you have no foreground feature to show. The clouds reflecting in the water alone with the trees makes it good the way it is.

Very good but I would suggest cloning out the dark post in the top left corner. Other wise super compostion and for a shot the couple will love it

Hi Karl, looks like you got your fill light spot on here looks very good. Don't know how far you are with the flash. But a few points worht checking out. 1. high speed flash so you use the flash upto 1/4000 sec. 2. Exsposure compenstion and flash compention are not connected. 3. Try Exsposure compensation -2/3 and flash compensation + 2/3 then flash works and key light and not just fill. Worth also using flash as manual power setting and and time fixed and setting in the exsposure with just appeture adjustments. There a lot you do with the flash it can be very creative. Regards Carl

Excellent portrait, great compostion and POV, bit of a shame about hot spots on forehead.

The shot looks good. The exsposure is perfect. I wuold say for my tastes it over sharpened but for the web version it gives it more punch. The foregrounds rocks are very interesting. have a nice size and you have good colour tones. But some how they don't really hit me as wow in this shot. Can't really say why, not much help. But I think there may be a better position and composition. I feel maybe the first stone only and then if you moved a third to the left. Looking out to sea with this stone in the bottom left corner. Maybe better with the background rocks that are closer to the sea. Very close and then with 16mm FF or 10mm crop.

Very nice work great shot super compostion and framing. Nice use of time and ISO to get this in the woods. Great series. Well done.

Alf just a quick one. the Shot Outfall was really perfect. There you got the processing and photography perfect. Here I feel the sky is just a touch to much. The mill house and pool reflection is perfect.

Its a very striking image, the reflection in mill pool is super. The compostion is very good. I would agee the sky is over processed and less would be more. But still a pleasure to view.

For an Urban scene an the architechture and composition its great the man with unbrella finishes the shot well. But I don like the out of focus left and right. Personally I think it would be equally as good if not better if all was sharp. Looks like PS blurr to me. Regards Carl

Great POV and intersting and compostion that also works. I like way they are flying through the shot in upper part of the frame the background details and the two foreground swans all add. The framing with the trees adds the special wow factor like a hunter looking for prey. Very interesting shot.

Very good like it. Looks like a key light is from above and maybe an edge light from the left would and some good highlights and a touch to the hair on the back side. But very nice Black and white and super pose and great model.

An Excellent shot and I would happly rate 7/7. The vertical and horizontal lines really work well super compostion and great colour and light. This last light and sunset and long exsposure is perfectly done. There is the post processing that is intersting. The shadows from the piers strong with the shadows in the water. The foreground jetty has no shadows or signs of a shadows? The light on front of boat appears to be there but the light source is missing. But this lighting of the boat makes the image. The inside front of the boat is lighted by prost processing as is the front und the pier. Saying all that the pictures shows a tranquile and dream world and is perfectly presented. Well done.

Excellent. this and the castle out the black are my favourites in this series. Super work.

Super catching this as night shot with reflection. The whole series is really excellent. I like the way the biuldings pop out of a black world. Congratulation on POW.
