Oh, here it is.
http://www.promarketinc.com/catalog/scanners/imaconflextighti.html
It has true optical resolution 4800 for 35 mm and 2400 for medium format as in mine.
So I has Precision model number one.
Sincerely, Jukka

Hello!
I have old scanner, it is Flextight Precision.
I dont find anything about Precision in internet, only Precision II and III models.
Is there such like only Precision?
I ask this, because Precision II have optical resolution 5712 or something like that, this my has true optical resolution 4800 for 35 mm. I use Flexcolor 3 version and use. I wont take Flexcolor 4, bacause I have mac with 9 version that newer Flexcolor needs 10.2.
Sincerely, Jukka

You cant run it under Windows 7. It is supported only for Windows XP. It is pain in the ass to get it work with Scsi card. Your easiest and best solution is to get powermac with 8.5 OS, 9 OS or X OS with scsi card. It is slow but it works. It will never be supported for newer versions. Silverfast and Vuescan doesn't support Imacon scanners.
I use gel filters on my Hasselblad and it's pro shade.
Sincerely, JUkka

Hi!
I have always used orange or yellow orange, but lately I have had a feeling that it darkens too much green.
What filters do you use for bw landscape and why?
Does light yellow have enough effect for clouds or does it have to be medium or dark yellow?
Sincerely, Jukka

Hello!
I got yesterday this old SWC and it hasn't been used much.
I can use my 63 mm adapter ring for pro shade and put wratten gel filters to that.
It binds nicely to Biogon. I have also holder for pro shade to use gel filters.
Anyway, I will get some Hasselblad 63 mm filters next friday.
Thanks for your answers.
Sincerely, Jukka

Thanks for your responses!
I will get camera today and I will try my pro shade.
I also bought some 63 baj filters, but I think I dont have that part, where those drop in filters will fit. Happily ebay seems to have some for reasonable price.
Sincerely, Jukka

Hello!
I will get old chrome version made 1959-1972 SWC. It has baj 63 filter. I have old pro shade with 63 adaptor ring, so can I use that pro shade with SWC? Can I also use my gelatin filters?
Pro shade has markings for 38 mm and C, so I think I can use all my filters?
Else: Does anyone here have experience with this old non T version?
Is it impossible to take a photograph when sun is in the frame?
Sincerely, Jukka

When I shoot bw in camera (nef), nx2 opens them also like that.
You can change afterwards it as standard, then it comes back to colour.
Maybe you have some options in nx2 that it changes everything to standard when you put files to your computer?
Sincerely, Jukka

Thanks for your responses!
I ordered softar I, I will only use its with portraits so I think it is best suited for me.
Can I see the effect on the screen when taking a photo or just in darkroom when photo is on paper?
Sincerely, Jukka

Hi!
I am considering softars for my 180/4 cf lens. I don't find exampe photos from the internet.
Which one of those would be most suitable for portraiture and does it affect if they have some scrathces?
Sincerely, Jukka

Hi!
Do anyone know what is thickness of wratten glass filters?
I have Hasselblad compendium which takes 3*3 gelatin filters with filter holder?
Is it possible to use these wratten glass filters without that Hasselblad filter holder?
Sincerely, Jukka

Hi Tarjei!
I ordered from Finland for 230 euros, new screen, takes 2-3 weeks to arrive.
Sincerely, Jukka

Hi!
I investigated different screens and I just ordered 42215.
I think you should do the same :)
Sincerely, Jukka

Noone in his right mind would go mess up the screen position, hoping to find a fix for a cheap crappy screen, rendering the camera virtually useless without sending it to a qualified (!) repair person with the right tools to put that in order again.
I couldn't agree more. This adjustment needs expensive and special measurement unit and much skill to do right adjustment. It should only be done, if new focusing screen is thinner or thicker than old one.
I have experience from this from rolleiflexes.
Sincerely, Jukka

Thank you for your information!
I ordered new acute-matte d with microprism and split image from Finnish seller.
Cost a lot, but
so what?
I am really convinced that it is worth every penny.
Now looking for 180/4....
Sincerely, Jukka

Hello!
I have searched long time new focusing screen for my 500 c/m. Only available new is normal acute-matte.
I would like to have one with microprism and that line (don't remember english word) These seems only be available in ebay.
Now I have very good one old normal focusing screen. Is it noticable difference if I change to acute-matte version?
Sincerely, Jukka

8 yellow, 11 yellowish green, no 15 deep yellow, 25 red?
They are meant in Kodad bw film data sheets for filter corrections?

Hello!
This is continuing-question to my first gel filter searhing.
I have gel filter holder for 75*75 mm filters.
Are there any bw gel-filters for this size, for example old wratten or new wratten 2 filters?
How about Lee or Hitech?
I am searhing for corresponding filters for dark yellow, orange, red and green glass filters.
Sincerely, Jukka

Hello!
I got large set of wratten gelatin filters for colour correction.
Can these be used for bw and much do they affect?
For example 85b is orange but only needs 2/3stop exposure correction whereas orange glass filter requires about 2 1/2 stops. Is this gel filter as affective in bw as glass filter?
how about yellowish gelatin filters?
These are 75mm * 75 mm I would like to use them with my Hasselblad compendium with filter holder.
Sincerely, Jukka

Hi!
I have been shooting six years with dlsr but also film. I gave up film 6 months ago but only for 4 months. 2 months ago I bought Hasselblad 500 c/m with 2 backs and 100/3.5 planar (non-t) for 260 euros. I think they are my best ever spent money. I use tri-x and develop it with d76 1:1, maybe the most classical film/developer combination. I print then with durst m805 for 16*20 inches. Quality is outstanding compared to my flat prints from Nikon d700 and prime lenses. I use dslr only for commercial work, everything else with Hasselblad.
It really doesn't matter, which mf-gear you'll by, if it just works. Stick with succesful brands, Mamiya, Pentax,Bronica,Hasselblad. There are many used gear for very cheap price.
SIncerely, Jukka

My best seeing lens is my 50/1.8 and 85/1.8. With them the screen is brightest.
I dont see as well with 2.8, because my screen is not so bright then.
My d700 has a better viewfinder than my em.
Zeiss Biogon 35/2?
in Leica and Rangefinders
Posted

Hello!
I am going to buy Leica m6 and 35/2 lens for it.
After long consideration I am leaning towards Zeiss Biogon Zm 35/2.
How much does it block with hood out the viewfinder of M6 with 0.72?
Does it block out the 35 frame line?
Is it still better to buy Summicron 35/2 IV?
Sincerely, Jukka
