    Hello Timothy - I'd like to offer my comments on this macro image. You DOF is excellent, giving perfect background blur and the head of your deadly bee is supersharp. I also like the composition and the placement of your bee and the angle of the flowers. My one criticism would be that the wing tip is cut off - perhaps you can re-post is this is a cropped image?     Wow! Those eyes are soooo sharp - love the composition too. The high key and low saturation have added impact to the image also.

    Christopher, your bird photography must rank up there with the world's best, so please keep sharing!     Excellent Monte! I love how the colours of the bird compliment the background. Very pretty bird. The right hand bottom corner blurred stuff is a week bit distracting though - but apart from that it's a great image. Rgds Carole
