Hi,
Here is a link to a "field-of-view calculator":
http://www.mat.uc.pt/~rps/photos/angles.html
A 6x9 with 105 lens is basicaly equivalent to a 24x36 with 44 lens (angle h/v: 45?/30? rounded).
In your case with a format around 36x88, that give angle h/v: 45?/19?
Have a nice day

Hi,
As geographer/cartographer, that's long time hat I'm interrested into panoramic
pictures. I stitched manualy or digitaly, plenty of pics.
I'm also "playing" with some vintage camera.
Now I'm thinking to by a panoramic 6x17 camera (Fotoman or Gaoersi).
The question is what's the best lens size for landscape pics?
90mm? or less or more?
Thanks for any advice.

Hi,
I'm still "playing" with filters and clip-on lens found with my "new"
Voigtlander (Bessa I and Perkeo II) recently bought on ebay.
Today, I have a question about a Zeiss close-up lens ref: A 32 (that's the
diameter) 975/1 Opton Proxar f=1m. It came with the Perkeo II but with
instruction sheet.
Is it somebody of you who knows the conversion distance ratio?

Thanks to all for help and advices.
The "winner" is Micheal. I discover a description sheet with some other Voigtlander filters.
It's a Skylight-Filter (aka UV-Color). Here the description, that can be usefull for somebody else:
"This filter has the effect of a UV filter combined with a light conversion filter. It fully absorb the ultra-violet light and its light rose colour slightly diminishes the colour temperature.
The se of a skylight filter is recommendable for shot under blue sky and at noon with sharp shadows, for snow pictures and pictures at seaside. The Filter reduces the unpleasant blue cast."

Hi,
Another question regarding one of my "new" camera (see prvious question). The
Bessa I is in quite good condition except the viewfinder that is completly
dirty.
How do I have to rmove the cover plate in way to have acces to the internal
side of the visor lens?
Is it as simple as removing the wind-knob (central screw) and unscrewing the
ring around the shutter?
Thanks for any advice!

Hi,
I just bought 2 Voigtlander camera (PerkeoII and BessaI) with "plenty" of
accessories.
One of these accessories is quite a "mystery" for me and I was unsuccesfull in
search on the internet.
What's a SF filter (in my case it's a SF 325/32 for the PerkeoII)?
How to use it?
Thanks for any answer to that newbie question.

Sorry, it seems that the "degree" sign was not recognized by the forum soft.
So the "?" in my answer are there for "degree".
