1.
No, Aaron. It works PERFECTLY well as I have the same setup. It would be better centered in the 3/8 hole, but it works in the 1/4 hole too.
Why does your video flip the picture right to left?
Or are you suffering from the same problem that my left handed daughter does?

 2.
I have adapted Op-Tech straps to ALL of my cameras--Nikons, Leica, Hasselblad and Rolleiflex TLRs.
Very comfortable to carry, easy to detach when putting camera on tripod

 3.
The green window was made for the BeeBee Bantam 828 film adapter. 828 film was paper backed unperforated 35mm film, sold in 8 exposure rolls. My cousin Sam devised a number of adapters and adapter backs for contemporary cameras of the '40s and '50s. Burleigh- Brooks of NYC bought his
design for the Rolleicord. It produced 28x40mm slides or negatives. I don't think it could work on the Automatic Rolleiflex.

 4.
Jim,

I have owned and used every Leica 90mm SM or M mount lens from the Thambar to the Apo Summicron. I have long decided on the Thin Tele-Elmarit. Since I seldom make larger than 10X prints, the Tele Elmarit with a long hood is pefect for my use. It is super light and compact compared to ANY other Leica 90mm lens.

I do not require a detachable lens head, as I use a Nikon SLR with bellows etc fr close-up work. I can select any super-sharp lens for ultra close-up shots of fine watch movements-- (See "The Watch" by Gene Stone}

 5.
Remi,

Quite frankly, I would use the folding "barn door" type of lens hood with the Summitar lens. Of course, you could use the barn door hood for the 39mm dia. Summicron, since you have the adapter already. The hood for the 2.8 Elmar is round and will contribute to the vignetting already present in your setup.

 6.
Emir,

OMG! Those pictures of the XK-SS Jaguar brought tears to my eyes. In late 1956, John Bentley and I each ordered an Xk-SS from the factory, using his connections. His in silver with black leather, and mine in silver with red leather. The factory had a fire in January 1957 and our cars were destroyed.
We had the money transferred to AC where we bought 2 AC-Bristols which we raced in 1957.
That Jag would have been impractical as a road car in the US, but I would have done it.

Let it be known that there is an outfit in England that can supply you with exactly what you need.
It is at <www.srbfilm.co.uk>

I use my Nikon5T and 6T with my 80-200 lens. They are higher quality than the H'blad Proxars
