<p>Have been thinking about a waterproof point and shoot for awhile now, have next to no experience with digital p&s , found the scene modes annoying not knowing what they actually do, ideally would like one that allows control over iso and aperture without going into menus and such, don't know if such an animal exists. Anyone want to share their experiences with p&s cameras, needs to be waterproof and rugged for the use I have in mind. Just by browsing internet camera stores have been drawn to the Fuji finepix xp60 & xp200 (like the optical zoom) and the pentax wg-3.</p>

<p>Took a walk up an old logging road today, found this rock in the middle of the trail, can't wait to take my granddaughter up that road and tell her that rock wasn't there last time I was there and get her to help me roll it out of the trail.</p><div></div>

<p>Haven't been shooting lately due to work and a death in the family, finally took the camera for a walk a couple days ago, this is Big run, which isn't very big, a small creek in the Mon. national forest here in West Virginia.</p><div></div>

<p>Did some post processing in lightroom of the "scans" they came out ok but still don't capture the colors and brightness of velvia, I know some don't like the saturated look of velvia, but for nature type shots I love it. On some of the brighter shots with lots of white had a little trouble with what seems to be lens flare.</p><div></div>

<p>Hin, yes its the TLR with interchangeable lenses, I love the big slides, but it is a serious chunk to carry around.</p>

<p>Gonna stretch the rules a little by posting a couple of shots taken by a mamiya 330 on velvia 100, then "scanned" by pentax K5 mounted on tripod over a small light table.</p><div></div>
