Thanks for the comment. Yes, I too like the all or nearly all nude pregnancy shots. Indeed, this is my wife's cousin (my wife is in the shot "baby, mom, coach" in the same folder), and although she is not shy, she just didn't want to go nude or bra-ed.

Thanks for the explanation. Digital noise, right. Is it because I use a cheap point 'n' shoot (Canon PowerShot A75), or because this is a very tight crop of a shot taken 8 feet from the subject, or both, or just what, I wonder?

I really enjoyed taking photos of my cousin when she was pregnant. I'm eyeing all the pregnant women I see these days... an old friend is pregnant and I've been bugging her to let me shoot her, but she seems shy. Have you photographed many pregnant women?

Thanks for your words, Andrea. Yes, as with many of my shots, grainy, unclear look. Junky camera, that's why, I guess. But then I rather like the dreamy look.

What first seemed too washed out strikes me as quite beautiful. Mom's

middle name is Dawn, too, so there's some serendipity in me having set

the camera poorly for the light.
