Cool and a lot of them are still in use. I'm still using my Dad's Nikon F, FE and their original lenses. Maybe someday I'll break down and buy some new ones.

I've heard great things about http://www.bwc.net, but I haven't had a need to use them yet.

Call Jeff Akbarzadeh at Casey's Cameras in Las Vegas 702-736-0890 (www.arpacam.com). Jeff is there Monday through Wednesday. He's worked on my Nikon F, Kodak Retina Reflex IV and several lenses. Does great work.

http://www.foamorder.com/neoprene.html has neoprene, check out the neoprene clearance page. I've been thinking of buying some to make lens bags.

OK, fess up which one of you bought it?

Actually snow can look blue, we just think it should be white. At least it's not yellow.

If you'd like to do them yourself and you have a community college or university nearby, check and see if they offer film classes. I'm taking classes at a community college now and really enjoying them. I have a large stash of Dad's old negatives I need to go though and print too. Maybe next semester...
Hurry though, I know there's rumors that that Powers That Be at my college are going to kill the film part of the Photography department soon. So I'm taking all the film classes now.

Not sure if this is the model you have, but there's a free download of a Kalimar meter here - http://tinyurl.com/2m8dfs

Yep, DIY liners. I'm fond of cutting up yoga mats.

Thanks Bob, I e-mailed you.
I did find that the University of Alaska Fairbanks has a film archive and are especially interested in film from the pre-statehood era. Cool. It's nice to know that people out there are interested in preserving the past.

On a funny note. The other day I found 2 Craig Rewind Reels and a Craig Splicer. I thought it looked like they were once screwed down to something, but put it aside for further research another day. Today I found the following brochure for a Craig Project-Editor. (See attachment below.) When I studied the picture closely I realized that the piece of wood that they were attached to is on a shelf in the garage. Now I just need to find the viewer. Trust me, if Dad ever had one, even if it's in a million pieces, it's in storage somewhere.<div></div>

This is a photo of my Dad?s from the early 1940s. I believe that this is a
cross-country trip that he took with some buddies while on leave in the Navy.
The envelope is from the Post Exchange Branch No. 17 Camp Bowie, Texas. He got
out of the National Guard a few weeks before WWII started. After Pearl Harbor,
he joined the Navy. I think it?s funny that the box of photos that this came
from has pics of him in both Army and Navy uniforms.
I was wondering if this kind of border design was common during that era. If you
look closely the border corners read ?Studer Photo San Antonio Texas? It comes
in handy when I flip the scan the wrong way, easy to tell when the picture is
i have a funny name.
