    Looking at a composition like this with its lush color, reflective, calm waters, and pastoral subjects, I can see why the old Dutch masters were content to paint in their own backyards. Just lovely!

    So many stories there... the proud new purchase, the dreams chased, and the final partial burial. Interesting details. The weather adds to the dolorous atmosphere. Very nice.

    I've seen lots of efforts like this, but I always am attracted to the repeated shapes and colors. Wooden boats. What lovely works of art and utility!

    Evocative photo. The gravediggers watching in the background speak volumes about what's one person's loss is another's gain. The woman's face says it all. What grief is expressed here!

    Wonderful! Unique landforms taken in an interesting way. The pathway invites, the light and shadow intrigue, and the view through the opening invites me into this shot. Very nice!

    I love the simplicity of unselfconscious childhood which you have captured here. The only suggestion I could make would be to de-emphasize the background. I found myself studying it to try to figure out what it was.

    Very nice shot! Having attended these weddings, I can see that you have captured the spirit of the whole. The only minute suggestion I would make would be to raise it one iota so that the cliff to the right of the falls is complete.

    I just love this! The color and balance of the composition, the story told of mud flats at low tide and it's influence on the waters of Alaska. So very nice!
