shooted in autumn, the place had so wonderful atmosphere & feel.. one
of my photos 'hylätty, (ya find it in my portfolio!) is taken near
this path. beautiful country landscapes, swamps, lakes, different
'kinds' forests, ya name it.. no manipulation, resizing did loose some
of the sharpness etcetera, but anyways, rates & comments welcome,
please! helps me trying to improve as a photographer!

For your kind comments & rates. Definitly going to get nice print out of this one and frame it, and it gets a good place in my humble & small flat. Maybe i even post some shoots about my 'apartment' then & before? I've taken some shoots to documentary reasons you know! I live in a 100-year old wooden house, wich has by that, history behind it so i'm very happy to live here, it can get bloody cold in wintertime, but i definitly feel that i can 'breath' better in here than in flat of houses. More soul too! The whole area of Port Arthur in Turku (wich i live) is 'protected' so if somebody wants to do some repairing etc. there's strick laws what can you do or not. That's great beacause we humans are destroying too much our cultural history anyway, so nice that something is left for the coming generations, and us too of couse!
Have a very nice holidays & take care!

My dog's pawn mark in the snow beside my 'army boot' mark, we're
walking the same path in life (saying it lightly;), should i try some
frames around it? some ideas for other alternations? thanx for
watching! Peaceful christmas to ya who have that opportunity.. & Peace
to the world, don't knee for the war pigs!

My beautiful dog, Rölli, guarding yards borders (or looking for a cat
to chase ;), hand focused, unmanipulated, with frames the background
etc might be more 'artistic' but wanted to keep it natural.. Thanks
for yar time people! -Mikko-

Thanks for your time to watch my photo! No particular 'tricks' used, just using my lens at maximum (18-55mm -> 18mm) so i got as much as possible in the picture, tried different angles (perspectives) and thought this was one of the best ones from this series; probably put some other ones to my portfolio in some point. You might be right about cropping the left side, it might do justice for the photo, frame it more etc., i definitly try it and put new version out too; thanks again for interest and time for yar comment, keep shooting good photos, nice portfolio ya have, Cheerz!

He was'nt so happy to be photographed, thats why the pretty freezing
stare, few minus degrees might helped a little too.. goed to talk with
him and everything was cool after that. Thanx for yar time!

Good shot! Good idea, good colours etcetera. Keep shooting good photos, cheerz!

Lying on my couch, with my dog Rölli (beauceron bitch) and camera was
on the table, manual focused it and shooted with self-timer. Not an
masterpiece ;) but she is naturally relaxed against my beer belly.
Cheerz for watching, rate if ya want \,,/ comments also welcome if
there's any!

If ya stupid cunts don't have balls to critique photos other than anonymous, maybe it's better to go some websites wich are for children ya kno. Don't care if ya rate photos, is it given 3 or 7 or whatever, that's yar opinion and right, but have the guts to do it with yar name under it. And some comment would justify yar rate and would make me learn more how to shoot good photos. Is'nt that one of the important things in this excellent site? Grow up so to say. And grow some honest respect to fellow travellers in this tellus.

Amanda, for commenting my photo and liking it, 'the village' comparison is good it's kinda what i was trying to get into this photo, kinda good vs. evil theme, contrast at least! btw, i love that movie, something different, directed perfectly, atmosphere, casting etc. works like a dream, so thanx!
Alpo, thank you for your succestion, interest & time to comment AND editing my photo, ya propably have enough to do with yar own ones. yeah, yar pretty right, that i dont re-edit my shoots, i do it hardly ever (unless it's been the idea behind, when i shoot some theme or smt). kinda think, that the photo should be as my eye (& mind,) has seen it when i shoot it. i don't have anything against 'photoshopping', digital alteration etc, wich i'm not so good as i should be yet (i mean photoediting in general). but my basic urge is just what i said. anyways, thank ya for yar offer, it really works, suits for the feel & atmosphere as i said in the introduction for the forum post, BUT the idea in those rocks was to bring some heavy feeling to the photo vs. autumn tones & 'happy feeling', i did pretty much different yoga moves & twisting with my camera and body to get those rocks there. neverlethless, i like them both so with yar permission i 'steal' your
idea and put that version in my portfolio too?
keep shooting, both of ya, i'll be visiting in yar portfolios to check out some new art! vis tacita!
