A very beautiful woman running across a road on what looks like a damp dull day. You even have both her feet off the ground. Well done, great image.

Beautiful model, I'm not sure about the pose but why did you add the sticking plaster over her rear end and a squiggly mark where her nipple should be?

Am I seeing this in reverse or is John Peri watermarking in reverse? A classic John Peri image. Beautiful girl, beautifully posed in opulent surroundings. A winner every time.  This is the work of a very skilled artist. I spent time with a photographer who needed most of a day to achieve this lighting effect. Well done John.

I would normally agree with you Alex about the shoes but this lovely lady is 'confronting' the camera/ viewer with naughty thoughts, which 'classic' nudes don't do. Such a beautiful curvy model too! I don't know what technique Jim employed to get that look but it works for me. Black hair, black shoes, bright red lips and extra sauciness, wow. Well done Jim

  1. I can't see the fun in this photo but I love the atmosphere. I was taught or rather had it drummed into me you never include yourself  (the photographer) in the image. This rule was busted apart for me when a very well known photographer submitted a photograph with her shadow in it! Ah, said the know alls of the photography world, she is famous you are not. So I go by how I feel about it now and not by what others say or rules they make. I like this image with the photographer in, to me it feels right. I looked at your entire portfolio and I like it very much. The black and white works very well. Your choice of older model works well here. Well done and well done for your portfolio.

Are seamless paper backgrounds making a come back? They were on their way out when I first took up photography, so I'm not sure I like them. Although I have used them in the last ten years on the rare occassion. In the old days of film, photographers had to get it right on the day and wait two weeks to see the result.  It forced the photographer to check and recheck everything. Light the background first, use a light on the floor, pointing up aimed at the background and a hair light. Lovely model BTW.

  2. I agree with you about splitting 'Nude' into another category or maybe two more. Nude, Glamour(Pinup) and Erotica. Your lovely example would fit perfectly in a Glamour section. Well composed, and lit. Maybe in place of the chintzy seat cover perhaps a plain one would have worked better.

A lovely ballerina(well the pose looks like it), well lit and posed. I imagine her standing on the tips of her toes. Unusual underwear, not meant for keeping her warm obviously, but very interesting. Who dreams up and designs these things? You are in the top division of photographers on here so I ought to make some criticism, but( I cut out the comments)  as 'photoshopping' is fast going out of fashion it's probably ok just as it is. Good work. Like to see more.
