Aspens glow in the Rocky Mountains near South Fork, Colorado.

Thanks for your critique

A different approach to an engagement photo - photographed in rural Texas on a found castaway couch.

Thanks for your rating and critique!

I used to see the F-111s at Cannon AFB doing this - but alas they have all been retired here. They called it a "Party Trick."
Great capture!

Thanks for looking!

T-38 jet trainers go a little hot dogging at my airport today.

I photographed several people who sat on this ledge watching a block party downtown - but this was the best poser.

I was trying for a kinda-sorta modern urban Norman Rockwell look.

I hate to be a nit-picker but that is an "arcus" cloud- the formation sticking down behind it in the background is a wall cloud. Great shot but I'd desaturate the blue a bit and lighten it up.
Keep up the good work!

Caught this supercell to the west-dying as the sun set. It made for a dramatic
end to a hot August day in northwest Texas. Thanks for looking!

A supercell thunderstorm dumping baseball sized hail in Armstrong County,

To give you an idea how tiny this frog is - thats a phone cable he's sitting on. I
think he could sit on a nickel and have room to stretch his froggy legs.

Discovered this amazing looking well-worn C-5 Galaxy that flew in some
time during the wee-hours last night. I think it was here to pick up (or
deliver) V-22 Osprey fuselage (or parts) to the Bell/Boeing plant here in
Amarillo.
I hope you like this shot - because I literally went through hell to get it. I was
attacked my a squadron of blood-sucking mosquitos (lying in wait in the
open airport field) that ambushed my bare legs.
I think I lost a pint or two of blood trying to get this shot just right!

Dodge Challenger - do you know the year?

I usually don't see robins at my feeder so I was surprised when this one flew in and quietly
and calmly posed for me. He didn't eat anything- I think he was just interested in what the
sparrows and starlings were in such a tussle over.

My granddaughter doing her best to look like her pet turtle Mr. Snappy.

I tilted the frame on purpose to give it a sense of a photo taken on the fly. A perfect horizon would have made it static.
Tornado from above

As I was flying into Amarillo, I photographed this tornadic super-cell just
north of the city with my Panasonic Lumix fz1000. I wish it was a bit
sharper but I was shooting through a thick aircraft plexi. I shot about 200
frames and finally nabbed one showing the tornado back-lit.
