    I like this photo much more than the other Sea Urchin photo. I think placing the subject a little off center is a much better choice, but that's just my personal preference. I tend to follow the rule of thirds quite adamantly, but again that usually depends on the subject matter. For a subject and setting such as this, I'm thinking rule of thirds, with the urchin placed in one of the lower corners, but again that's just my opinion. Good job.

    The best photo I've seen in a long time. I have seen great photos recently that may have been "technically" better than this, however, I really feel this photo. When I see a photo that makes me feel, I'll add it to my favourites over any "technical photo" anyday.
