Very nice!  I usually find concert photos to be rather "blah", but this one really catches my attention.  It'd be nice if the highlights weren't blown out, but that's the only negative I can see.  The sense of energy and motion is excellent, and I think the choice of crop and tilt enhance them.

portrait and then lightened in post. Kudos are appreciated, but what

I'd really like is suggestions for improvement.

I can't take credit for the kid, but I also liked the tones and lighting in this one. Looks like the lone rater didn't agree. Ah, well... I think he/she is wrong ;)

I appreciate the comments. I agree about the crop; I wish I'd pulled back a little and gotten the rest of him in the frame.

Thanks for the comments. I should mention that he wasn't actually sad. He was mad because I had just told him that we wouldn't be leaving the cemetery for a while yet, and he was bored. When he plopped down and got that expression on his face, though, I saw how the shot would look and grabbed it.

Nice image, and model, but this should have been categorized as "Nude", rather than "Portrait".

At least for me, a strong, clear theme jumps right out... Lust!
