<p>I am going to assist a friend photographer at a wedding where the bride is pretty, but she just won't "let loose" for her to get the cool kind of pictures that she wants...we need to get her to loosen up. Other than putting muscle relaxants in her coffee what can we say/do to get her to really smile, rather then they self concious, I am getting my picture taken smile. My friend is a wedding vet and he has never seen anything like this Bride...any suggestions?<br>

Can someone give me an exaple of a Photography Concept that would be shot after creating a storyboard of the idea. Idealy your example would be something for a studio session. No Landscape Ideas because I am trying to branch out.<br>

I know this may be very vague, maybe help me fill in some of the blanks.<br>

This is a question about Graphic Art/Logo design

 

My sister is trying to find a logo for her family Business Beck Plumbing. It

is a large plumbing company that mostly does new construction, not a "leaky

faucet repair man" kind of plumber. She worked with a professional graphic

designer and he created this logo for her company.

 

She is not happy with it, at all. She does not think that it looks "strong

enough" and both her and I hate the typeface, not to mention the fact that the

color of the typeface does not match the logo.

 

It is very important to her that she incorperate "Established in 1972" to the

design because she wants everyone to know that this is a well established

company. We need something simple that will be easily read on the back of a T

Shirt, but we do need a logo, we were thinking of a fish (because they swim in

water) or a Deer (the Company was founded by "Buck" Beck).

Any help would be appreciated, I am attaching what the professional idea was.

I have some basic questions about my new Camera, the Canon S3

 

Can someone please tell me a situation where apeture would be a priority over

shutter speed? It has a setting called apeture priority.

 

Also, are there any hard and fast rules for setting the ISO setting?

 

How do you know which ISO is right for your pic?

I really had NO idea what to charge and I admitted it to the lady who organized the shoot, she is an aquaintance that I met through my soon to be ex's work she is getting a friend rate. If I had an SLR I would have charged more, I was out there with my point & shoot on a tripod-but this lady didn't care! She told me to do whatever I could!\

The whole thing took about 2 1/2 hours-drive included, I will be doing minimal post processing work.

What would you charge to drive 30 minutes away, shoot 20 useable group photos

(about 40 rough) of a group of people (it's for a large cosmetic company & going

on a postcard.)

I charged $115-was that high?
