    Round 'n Round

    Hi Mike

I am not going to comment on the tech side of this image because the feeling of fun this image has captured is nothing short of brilliant. You, your daughter and all her guests at her 21st birthday party will be warmed by this photo. Capturing these moments, isn't that what we are here for?

I really like this because I know I'm looking at a huge feet of enineering but at the same time this could be a macro shot of a bike wheel hub (with a signle fork). You have managed to trick the eye with the scale of this photo. You have good camera foo. L.Y.G.

Wow! At first I thought this were 2 headlands on a river bend shot quite wide and far away but when a clicked on it and the water drop drew in I was nothing short of impressed. My only comment would be that I would like to see more detail in the moss, more DOF perhaps.

I really like what you have done with the reflection, I appologise if I'm wrong but the use of the flood filter is very effective and has enhanced a lovely lily photo, there is a calming effect here that appeals to me, simple but so effective. I can see some of the anti-ps people having issues with this but to them I say that this image has a place to hang on my wall.

I know what it is, its the left nostril of the rare and widley misunderstood sand sparrow. OK you got me, I have no clue. This is by far the best one of the 3 images you've posted. Quite interesting light and I this is something that I would

hang on my wall. (Spare a thought for the small but friendly sand sparrow).

I really like the backlighting in this one, still a bit soft though. Cool colours and great idea. I'm actually quite keen to give this a go myself. I hope I can achieve the same results you have.

Im a sucker for Sydney Harbour night shots, best city in the world (very narrow minded comment since I have never actually left the country) but I feel that a longer exposure would help bring out more detail in the background.
