I don't know what's more interesting, the story of how or the actual photo, both are brilliant.

Hi Mike
I am not going to comment on the tech side of this image because the feeling of fun this image has captured is nothing short of brilliant. You, your daughter and all her guests at her 21st birthday party will be warmed by this photo. Capturing these moments, isn't that what we are here for?

I really like what you have done with the reflection, I appologise if I'm wrong but the use of the flood filter is very effective and has enhanced a lovely lily photo, there is a calming effect here that appeals to me, simple but so effective. I can see some of the anti-ps people having issues with this but to them I say that this image has a place to hang on my wall.

Sitting at work (clearly not actually working) wanting to be somewhere else and you have just provided a destination. Great shot.

I know what it is, its the left nostril of the rare and widley misunderstood sand sparrow. OK you got me, I have no clue. This is by far the best one of the 3 images you've posted. Quite interesting light and I this is something that I would
hang on my wall. (Spare a thought for the small but friendly sand sparrow).

Im a sucker for Sydney Harbour night shots, best city in the world (very narrow minded comment since I have never actually left the country) but I feel that a longer exposure would help bring out more detail in the background.

I like the gentle fade to black from bottom to top in the background and the lights themselves look like a graphic design. Nice capture.

I've only just started playing with backlighting, and to be honest this shot will give me something to strive for. I love it.

I wish I was on the water but I was on the otherside of the harbour armed with my 90mm - 300mm on Saturday night. Thanks for your comments
