I made this image in Glencoe.
It was made under a cobalt blue dusk sky with not a cloud in sight. The
lichen has taken on the blueness of the light.
Thanks for your time and comments

This image was made during a photographic holiday to Glencoe earlier
this year.
Made on a Horseman45FA camera using Ilford Delta film.
I have sharpened and tweaked the levels to get " white " snow only.
Thanks for looking

Thanks for the comments _ I used a galen and Rowell 3 stop ND Grad to hold back the sky and the mountain, although this was purely to convey the feeling that i had when i was stood there. The light in the foreground was fleeting and bright and I hope that this is conveyed !
Isabella, Thank You for taking the time to comment

I made this image after waiting for about an hour for the light to
illuminate the foreground and leave the mountain of Eavhal behing
shrouded in darkness and shadow,

Hi Andrew,
I really quite like this one.
I like the low viewpoint and the placing of the tower which feel just right although not necessarily conforming to " the rules "
My only islike is the area of sand at the bottom left which IMHO detracts slightly from the flow of the image.
The light to the right of the tower add a fitting tension to the whole image.
Well done
Keep up the good work.

The high saturation suits this image IMHO

Thanks Steven for taking the time to comment
Your thoughts are useful and indeed hit upon one of the reasons I went to Large format a while back and that is the amount of detail.
Yes I would agree that some viewers may find it fussy as there is a lot of information on offer, but I think i am attracted more and more by the detail in ordinary places that people just dont see
Once again thanks for the comments!
