Beautiful natural lighting. Regarding composition in my honest opinion you have too much at the bottom and too little at the top.  The round object at the right of the vase it is not helping so I would remove it as well as a cleaner base. I also would cover the rest of the base (bottom left hand corner). Hope that helps.

Beautiful  Art. The elegant pose, composition, skin tones makes this picture a really fine art. I agree with Timo about the DOF but then again, maybe your intension was not to isolate the model from the BG completely. In all, it is an amazing picture. Well done.

Great eye contact Gail. When softening the skin always avoid the eyes, mouth, nostrils and hair. Most important part in a portrait is the eyes. They have to be sharp. You can tell so much from a person’s eyes. That is only my opinion. Hope it helps.
