You did well in PS regarding editing and adding the texture. One thing maybe in my opinion you could have done to really show how big the onion was. A ruler by the side or, something that the viewer knows the size of it. You know how big it was but the viewer doesn’t.  Hope this will help for next time. Regards.

Hi Deb, maybe if you can clone out the hair strands on top LHS (background area) and on the Mother’s eye you would improve this great image even further. Lighting, skin tones and the B & W conversion are very good. Regards.

Hi DC, Beautiful eyes and nice portrait. Only thing is that you moved too close to her face and that made her head looking much bigger compared to the neck and rest of her body. Hope that helps. Regards.

Hi Siamak, I like the idea of placement of the model but, there are couple of things that in my opinion you can do to improve this picture. Maybe, if you can show more of her eyes and also try not to, divide her face with her nose. Eyes should be the focus on a portrait. Regards.
