The lens I used was a Canon 24-70 mm 2.8L and two Speedtron Strobes at 45 degrees, Camera right and left.

I like this photo because it makes me question, who slept here and did they have a restful night?? Did they fall asleep reading one of the books on the table?? Where they awaken by the morning or evening light?? I like the contrast of this image, you can see detail in both the lamp and outside window light. This image tells me to wake up and get out of bed. Nice

For the artsy Feel, why not have a photo that is very contrasty and has some blown out highlights. Creating a dark stark mood. I am glad that you asked

Hey Jerry hanks for the feed back !! The softness and over exposed highlights in her dress and skin where on purpose. It gives this photo a more artistic feel.

I really like the contrast in this photo, the background almost monochrome, only a

boost in the color saturation and crop, no other manipulation to the photo. To me the

wind surfers sails remind me of clipped butterfly wings dancing on the ocean.

Hey thanks everyone for the comments, Jerry your comment is correct about the soot and chalk days of film, I was trying to mimic that effect with my digital camera and CS3. I really like the soot and chalk effect even though back in the day, we were not trying to achieve that result. i had also thought about adding in a bit of the grainy effect, but decided to wait on some feed back. Thanks again.
