i appreciate the mist in this picture, but the top of the picture is just coming off too overexposed and is hurting the picture a lot.
Maybe if you had used an graduati neutral density filter the picture would have come better.

Thanks for comments

nice perspective, good picture, i like it,
may ask what city is this?

Thanks there is supposed to be a deep between the photos, the dark purple is negative stuff going around in my country and the blue is the hope that things can be better, sadly the deep purple is about to engulf the ship, in days coming il post the other version, wich in aesthetics is worst but has more meaning.
Im so sad at little amount of critiques i had in this pictures, i wanted the meaning of it to trascend a bit more, maybe i should have explained it before.

What do you think?

Hello M.C. Escher.
I think u should uses more depth of field for this picture, i also would try to get the whole hand well lit.

Jeff this is a great great picture, it really transmit the feeling of how sometimes things are so near yet unobtainable, les than an inch a way is freedom, but barbwired cuts right through the sky and makes impossible to reach, only the hope of someday remains...
Of all the pictures i seen from you my favourite, i dont think the aesthetics are enough for a 7, but ill give it anyway.

Adam, in my personal philosophy the more truthfull picture is the one that best expresses what it needs to, not the one that comes right after the click, i support all for manipulation. (as long as it is manipulation not creation)

i used another picture for the shadows.

jeff you are a great photographer, but let me tell that YOU SUCK AT REJECTING PICS, why in the world would u reject this beatiful picture.
-
this may sound a stupid question, but is it possible to get a picture so smooth like this on a dslr? I heard some people that need this smooth effect on pictures to retract from digital because digital cant get the smooth colors right.

while i think the picture is overexposed in some areas, 7 for originality my friend, great still life.

Great picture, nice composition.
hey adam, if am not mistaking i think windows has program called photo editor or something in wich u can make some simple adjustments to your pictures. (im not sure because i use a mac). Some pics can really change with a little more saturation.
