love the series. Love the model, setting, and light. Well done. I really like seeing nudes that aren't studio lit, model type shoots.

    Thanks for sharing

    Buddha 4

This is my favorite of the Buddha shots you have. The lighting is just right. This very Buddha sits over my bed so I am particularly drawn to it.

    Nice portfolio (and Bio).

    cheers

  1. The blur adds to the title. So does the shadow, the hand in the face..not looking at the camera. Without the title, the impact of the picture would diminish. Well done

    Beautiful woman...she shouldn't be so modest : )

great idea and execution. I like the lines in the background, it keeps the whole composition in balance. And I like the fading of the frame in the top and right.

I wish that I could be as helpful as you were when commenting on my photos.

    I will be back : )

  2. only suggestion is that you missed a spot of the sky that needs darkening. near the top left of the bridge, last vertical cable...look larger and you will see it. Otherwise a wonderful shot! Thanks for sharing

    Reflection

I love the reflection, the color and the way it blurs it into almost a painting. However, The weight of the rocks make the picture feel out of balance for me.

    Nice pic. Keep shooting.

The combination of the expression of the model and the scar conveys so much emotion. Your whole series with this model is outstanding. Some of the close ups you have done with her move me deeply. It is amazing how a photo can convey hurt, resignation, resilience, beauty, etc. Not to mention nice composition, light, and all the other technical stuff.

    very nice.

    Going Big

    Hi Tristan,

I like this shot a lot. I wish the ribbon wasn't there but still a good action capture.

I think the crop was good. I haven't seen the original but there is plenty of canvas on the left to absorb the energy of the skier.

    cheers
