sarah marie jones 0 Posted April 2, 2006 Beautiful model, beautiful shot. I love the lighting here, with deep shadows, and yet a subtlety of tonal range across the skin. Very nice pose too. I like your work very much. Best regards. Link to comment

hilander 0 Posted April 5, 2006 Great, soft lighting. I also like the model's pose. Almost has a soft-focus feel of vintage portraits. Well done! Link to comment
lingeringlight 0 Posted April 5, 2006 The combination of the expression of the model and the scar conveys so much emotion. Your whole series with this model is outstanding. Some of the close ups you have done with her move me deeply. It is amazing how a photo can convey hurt, resignation, resilience, beauty, etc. Not to mention nice composition, light, and all the other technical stuff. very nice. jonathancharlesphoto 4 Posted April 5, 2006 The wound seems to be deeper than the cut. Very intense representation of vulnerability and strength. Beautiful photographic technique and composition) Congratulations, Jonathan Link to comment
ronaycock 5 Posted April 5, 2006 Simply beautiful. The tonal range, texture, pose, lighting....I don't think there is any way to improve this one. Thanks for sharing. Ron Link to comment

antoniobassiphotography 0 Posted July 22, 2010 Fantastic nude. Androgynous model (you) with fantastic skin. Extremely expressive. Calls for sex, a bacchanal sex ritual. Link to comment
jonathancharlesphoto 4 Posted July 31, 2010 Returning to this image after 4 years I am again struck by its intensity, represented by the original composition, lighting & print technique and your engagement with the act of photography. It is one of the quite few pictures that I wish I could have taken myself - but, of course, I could not as it is essentially a self portrait and expression of personal feeling that was specific to you and that time.Best wishes, Jonathan Link to comment
