Many many thanky for the idea and the detailed comment.
In the few last photos of mountains it has been exactly my wish to have both very dark and very light domains in the same photo, as it enhances the feeling of the upcoming shadows in the mountains, when the sun hides behind some peak. Here is night and over there still day, so to speak.
But nonetheless thanks a lot for the idea. Do you mean something like the attached image?
Best wishes and keep it up,
Nick

What a coincidence! I see here exactly one free corridor to the door through all those things on the left anf on the right of it. ;-)
Cheers,

Many many thanks for the detailed comment! I don't find that flare so disturbing. To tell you the truth, here I would like to have more of them. But it's only my personal bias towards flares.
Keep it up and best wishes!

If you let me photograph your backyard as it is now, I'll help you clean it! Promise! ;-)
Cheers,
Nick
P.S.: Would you like to make some shots in my flat? Looks similar to the above! ;-)

Not only I don't mind, but I am really grateful for your idea! Indeed it is much much better the way you show me. Those strong contrasts are great!
Thank you so much for the details of your work with it!
Ooops, I meant thanky, of course! ;-)
One of those bad habits that I will never correct - I always type "thanky"! ;-)
Best wishes,

Im am glad you do, since I also love that. I don't know why, but I find those "fuzzier" B&W images just... magnetic!
Many thanks,
Nick

Yes, it is a piece of a large sculpture at the entrance area of a building in St. Gallen. I wished I had some other B&W film with me, but I hadn't. BTW, any possibility to increase contrast in PS without increasing graininess at the same time?
Thanky a lot,
Nick

Thanks a lot for the comment!
In my experience, the warmest and cosiest pubs are always somewhere in between dreadful housing contraptions. Perhaps their "neighborhood" to real human problems makes them warm and cosy? I don't know.
Thanks and keep well,
Nick
