I agree. I am working with contrast more, and find that having a wide range of bright-dark naturally in an image is rewarding.

I thought it was water striking a surface. Wow! Very well done. Regards. RC

If I remember correctly, Alexander WAS the little bully until he conquered Persia. Burning Persepolis was just an accident after a wild party night. anyway, congratulations on your continued productivity. I always enjoy a visit. Regards from Atlanta, Georgia, USA. Alexander never made it here that we know of.

Wow. I wish I could suggest improvement but this is really nice. The foreground white rock is minimally overexposed. I might tap up the blue in the sky a bit. Really nice image. Congratulations.

Cropped Well.

Well done, my friend. Might you amp up the foreground color a bit to bring out the reflection I see in front of the driftwood?
-
A little bit of halo around the rock leading up right from the sun. I don't know if you could avoid this in post. Very nice.

How funny to find an image accidently that I like, and to find I commented on it a year ago. I still like it. Regards-RC

Well, I have been beaten to the word stunning. congratulations on a remarkable image. You have it all. Depth, interesting items in all areas. Congratulations.

I like this. A problem I have found when I am lucky enough to get similar circumstances is that the snow covered trees blend together enough to be visually confusing. I don't have a solution. Regards-RC

You really got the technique right. Foreground to background with the valley. What is lacking is drama. I believe it is a mid day shot. There are not any real shadows. It is pleasant (wish I was there) but lacks something.

Nice to have such landscapes to shoot. You have some vignetting in the corners from something. The foreground plants are sort of bland. Still a scenic worth working on. Very interesting.

I rrun into this problem frequently. there is a piece of landscape that catches your eye but the overall scene is not that interesting. The water here is very nice. The framing is fine. BUT, there is nothing in the overall surrounding that is of interest. Maybe a fall shot with autumn colors would be better.
I view these as learning experiences-i threw away about 100 shots that I did in a park today. Generally intersting but not of any absolute value. It is still useful work for testing equipment, framing etc.

Beautiful image. my only constructive comment would be that the sky gradient from side to side does not look quite right. The top center is a darker hue than the sky on either side. Still, very nice.

dynamic range is excellent. Great use of fog, which is very difficult. Centering and focus of excellent. All around a great image.

The little guys hate the hawks. Good capture.

It is hard to capture these guys reasonably close. Nice dinner he got. Interesting photo.

It would be difficult not to appreciate the beauty of the place. However, in this image there is room for improvement. The left of center rock highlights are blown. The green is overdone. Maybe overall land color balance is off? The sky is nice. Keeping a pano sky reasonable when using polarizers is difficult. The water is certainly inviting given the heat we are having here in the southeast. Best Regards.

Very nice. Was there a reason to clip the trees at each side? Maybe this is the better choice, just curious.

These are dramatic, but to me the sky is a little too dark. Regards, RC
