Actually its not a macro shot at all. I was shooting with my Nikkor 135mm f/2.8 AI-S lens today and this is a pretty hefty crop of a larger image. I adjusted the contrast in Photoshop to achieve what you see here. I also have a monochrome version in my portfolio that looks pretty good as well. Check out my Zenfolio portfolio as I think the images look better there. Thanks for looking Jason.

This image evokes a great deal of emotion. Sometimes I listen to music when I view photographs and with this image I was listening to Death of a Train by Daniel Lanois. I recommend viewing this image with that track. Great photo Giedrius!
