    hello nick~ your corrected version looks nice, the area discussed is definately softer and seems more balanced to the rest of your image. i have only used PS twice to just see what it can do for a picture but as you said, I am also a shoot what i see photographer. in this image i must say i am still drawn to the rustic fence with the cool shaped leaved hanging above and the aged pathway next to it.....a great scene. thank you for the dialog! regards.....

    i think this moment is caught very well.....a scene I frequent in my own life with children! It seems to me the girl on the left is upset at her idea (of play)not being chosen...the center child is probably a friend who is light hearted and is trying to make her feel better, perhaps offering a compromise. The child on the right is apprehensive but will eventually join in and all will be good again. friends...... :)

    i like the composition of your photo...the varied textures and colors. the forground is sharp and detailed. My eye is drawn however, to the upper right corner.In my opinion, the lighting is a bit harsh. I might actually try cropping that portion right to the end of the fence. I don't know PS well but perhaps that section could be adjusted a tad. My two cents...overall a nice shot.

    very nice composition....i like the droplet of water from the petal.The lighting behind the petal works well....all of its details stand out.
