Hey Lannie...this was taken a few days ago. I live on this road. With the drought we had last summer I am amazed that there are any leaves on any of the trees. We have had a good bit of rain and temps all over the place. I can't believe the grass is so green. This sumer it was brown. Thanks for stopping to post...~j

Thanks Jack...just checking. Galveston Island is to the left of this shot. The movie "My Sweet Charlie" was filmed there in 1968. Photo taken last summer July '11. It was a drive by shooting! Amazing that this place was not blown away in the 2008 storm Ike.

I appreciate what you see in my work. Yes though ordinary...it is my life...and with that, I feel it very special and way beyond the ordinary~

I don't much care for posed shots so I took the chance of opening the space to include all the tracks from people that have come and gone, and most likely taken the same shot different verse! I see that the two kids in the back need their faces lightened but ...that's another day.
