I can't believe this one is rated lower than the screws, it's a much smarter play of lighting.

I guess in this days of photoshop creative shots have less of an impact.

Highlights are OK, but I'd like to see a little more info in the shadows. Try using the "Shadows and highlights" function in Photoshop, play with the sliders until you like what you see.

Contrary to David's opinion I find the framing pleasing enough; I would have gone for focus on the entrance of the tunnel, the blurring of the first plane is a little annoying.

You could've included the ground in the composition, but that would've probably made the image too small. Perhaps you could've moved in closer and shot from below as the chopper was lifting those guys.

What are they doing, by the way?

Beautiful image. Nitpicking it I would suggest that you used a gradient instead of a solid color for the background, it would look more realistic.
