I was playing around with a 24 mm Tilt-shift lens on a 1.4X extender
and EF12 spacer when I ran into two ladybugs mating, the fly,
amazingly, flew in and posed while the 10 second timer was running,
she flew away immediately.
No flash and camera on a tripod...

I don't find the tight crop particularly bothersome, but the weird reflection on the tile behind your face does look weird.
Excelent pose, by the way!

Shooting an interesting spider (that I will upload shortly) I ran
into this little fellow who obliged with a nice pose.

Excelent shot, I would straighten the horizon in photoshop, looks somewhat crooked.

Mario,
I'm sure you mean balloons, not globes, and yes it is a very interesting image.

I can't believe I got a photo in the Top-photo gallery of digital alterations with all of 10 minutes worth of Photoshop!
Thanks again guys, I really apreciate your ratings and support. I need to have the final photo ready in a couple of weeks, I hope that one does as well as this one on the ratings.

Part of a Photoshop Class, I will try to use them in different
settings... Will they work or not?

The focused spot behind the goo begs for a model or some recognizeable feature.
Have you tried lighting the goo from behind? That should bring out a little bit more texture.
Cool shot as it is!

Hi!
I liked "E pluribus unum" better...
Still a pretty cool macro shot!

One of this days I'll have to leave my macro lens behind and shoot insects with a longer lens. Great shot Debra, congratulations!

Beautiful animal, great shot!

Pansa,
I would probably like to see this shot about 1/3 of a stop brighter. More info without loosing the mood.
Still a great shot, I gave it 5/6.
Finally, in my opinion this is a landscape shot, not a "fine art" shoot. It puts me off to see people calling their own work "fine art".

Fun angle Adrian, thanks for your rating!

Could you bring shadows up a notch? The image is spectacular, but I find the pitch black areas a little bit disturbing.
Still I would give it a 6/6, the reflection on the water works spectacularly.
