Legacy of the Bush administration?

I suspect this shot would be better in color.

Good photo, but.... The dark thing behind his right shoulder should be cropped out. The man is not quite sharp enough. Fill flash is maybe .5 stop too bright; darken face a bit.

Photo soft, particularly the shutters.
-
Photo is soft, texture of windmill not clear, foreground blurred
-
Detail burned out on swans
-
lighten the shadow areas

Interesting perspective, although from the way the hair hangs it appears that photog simply posted upside down. Nevertheless, even right side up intesting viewpoint (down looking up) and good lighting and expression.

Image needs to be straightened (it is leaning).

I think the photo works better if it is cropped along the bottom where the tan of stone/brickwork meets the charcoal grey at the bottom of the wall.

I cropped as I suggested

Gorgeous photo. However, I find my eyes wandering all over the photo without finding a focal point. For me the dark glass at the upper right is what sort of diffuses the photo. But try looking at it cropping the top of the photo along the top edge of the railing at the upper right. Personally, I think that cropping would make a better photo.
Alternatively, if the photo is already a crop (could be even though 6x6), if the top of the dark glass door at the upper right were visible in the photo it might also make a better photo.

I thought that the stongest sibling killed its rivals in the nest, and that only one would survive.

Neither the window frame nor the landscape are sharp. However, I am not sure whether being sharp would improve a very nice photo.

Love the colors, but person is too centered. If photo is cropped from larger, can person be moved to left?

Actually, I much prefer the complete view version, for a variety of reasons. In the original, the tops of the things that surround the base appear as intruding clutter, while the complete photo shows the Buddha in the context of its surrounding and gives better perspective to its size.

This subject requires sufficient DOF so that both foreground and background catapillars are in focus.
-
Photo lacks the sharpness that such a subject demands.

Suggestive of MB White's photos.

Cropping of end of thumb a bit of a problem.
