Greetings Folks-
I was using LR for years on a mac. Now I have a new version of LR for PC. I imported a bunch of jpgs at 3-5 mb per image. With minor adjustments and exporting at "100%" on the slider, exported images are 2-300 kb.
Are there import settings as well as export settings?
Thanks-
Jim

Yes, you are right...Iowa...I did send it to Iowa. I'm from New Jersey, what do I know?

Greetings all-
Anyone know what's going on with dr5 in Kansas? Sent a roll of Scala over a month ago. Call, email and nothing. Anybody home there?
Thanks-

Thank you, Antonio!

Thanks, Mike. Yes it does have one of those flimsy film holders...and I just scanned some negatives that were cut into five frames...which is why I asked before I slice up my film!

Greetings-
I neglected to have my E6 mounted, so I now have one strip encompassing the entire roll.
What length (i.e number of frames) do I cut my strips for scanning on an Epson 4490 flatbed scanner?
Thanks in advance-

Greetings-

After 20+ years as a PC person I am finally going Mac after my Windows 8 machine crashed...again. Only 14 months old too. Lost files, software etc.

So I'm currently using a Macbook pro ca 2009 or so (OSX 10.6.8). I'm trying to download Aperture for purchase and it says "This link needs to be opened with the iPhoto App.
So then iphoto opens and it asks "Do you want to subscribe to this feed?"
Then it says something about item or feed unavailable.

Anyone ever see this before?
Thanks-

Greetings All-

I ave been shooting Fuji Provia 35 mm for years and still shoot it. I will attempt my first photo shoot with a Bronica and 120 format.

Ultimately I will scan the slides. My question is: Can 120 format be mounted as 35 mm slides are, or do processors simply cut the film in strips for scanning.

Thanks-

Greetings-

Will the AF Nikkor 70-300 f4-5.6 allow, A, P and S mode on the D5000?

I realize that there will be no AF.
Thanks-

Hi Jeff-
What I meant by that comments is that the images themselves were pretty bad. Overexposed, shooting into the sun, I didn't want them "published".

Thanks-

Thanks all. As usual, you guys and gals are great.

And J, I would send you my images, but they have not been edited yet. But I do certainly thank you for the offer

Greetings-
I have PS7 and ACDSeePro on my PC. Neither of these has a photomerge/panormaic function.
I have PSElelements 10 on my MacbookPro which has a great panoramic function, but it can't handle anymore than two images at a time.
I'm trying to merge 4-6 images together (BMX bikers). Files were shot RAW on manual and converted to jpgs. I have different size jpgs too (from 600 kb to 4 mb) and PSE won't do it. The Mac just freezes up.
My question is: Are there plug-ins for my PS7 (PC version)?
Thanks-
Thank you, Ed. I had the stupid "limit size" box checked. Everything is good now.
