I disagree with your statement to Dave. The cigarette is part of the subject matter of the image and therefore could be a discussion point. I agree it has nothing to do with the technical merits of the image but certainly lends toward composition. That being said I personally as well do not enjoy seeing a beautiful woman with a cigarette tucked between her fingers. I would prefer something different to satisfy my personal tastes. A glass of wine perhaps. I'm sure there are those who have problems with drinking as well. It is their right of expression to critique art within the confines of personal taste. I generally tend not to comment on things I dislike though there is plenty of it out there. Apparently others have no issue with this judging by the number of comments and ratings on an image that is not of your usual standards of quality. Thank you for allowing me to express my opinion.

this has been a very nice series you put together here. the compositions have been in-ordinary and quite lovely.

This is splendid. I love experimentation. The choice of green makes it for me. Nicely done.

 

 

Love the shine of her face and the texture of her hair. The tones here are spot on. Lovely image.

A lovely image. The only distraction here for me is the strange shadow being cast above her left breast. This is a beautiful portrait of a beautiful woman.

I agree with Rasmuss. Also I find there to be too much light on her left chest and shoulder. Wonderful concept none the less.

Simple. Great lines. Nice tones. I like it. I might have moved her a little to the right though to give her elbow some more space.

A moment. A piece of time where everything lined up just perfectly. You're a lucky man.

Although I suspect this image of a beautiful woman was not intended to be suggestive or erotic, I find it to be just that. Her pose and the resulting highlights and shadows have made this so in my eyes. This woman has a wonderful sensuality which she allowed you to capture. A well done composition by both of you.

I've always been a big fan of your work in this genre. This one does not disappoint.

The complex simplicity of this image is wonderful. I always enjoy your presentation of colour. My only nitpick would be something about her face. Lack of sharpness maybe? I'm not sure. Some fill maybe. Great composition none the less.

This is certainly not a montage though I do think for my personal tastes the fill could be a little less.

Quite nice. She is stunning! Makes your job easier. Very pleasing image.
