just a thought but those toyo 4*5's that are made out of carbon fibers seem pretty light. if you already carry a tripod, then for around the price of a new system wou might be able to get one with a lense, which would be a lot more versatile, and compared to a system with a wide assortment of lenses, could be relatively light. just a thought. maybe a tlr like a rolleiflex, might be pretty light, with a nice lens. or you can do what i do, which is use a holga. they are the lightest of the crop, putting a lot of disposables to shame.

does anyone have experience pushing delta 3200 to 12800? reason i ask this is that my holga shoots 400correctly in daylight, and using my versiuon of sunny 16, i gather that is the speed i would need to shoot in trains, which is my goal. i was wondering if the 17 minut 1+0 developing in d-76 is a good place to start, or have people found that something more or less is better?

jsut because it is a darkroom, doesnt mean it is pitch dark. safelights arent safe for film. just a thought. maybe tryputing in and removing film in a change bag, just to rule out the camera. dont know what to say past that, sometimes see it with 35mm, but that is just the little bit that sticks out. good luck

do holga's work with IR film, because it seems like it would be cool,
but i am not sure if holgas are lighttight for ir. i was thinking
rapping in aluminum foil might work

i came upon a busch pressman model C. it shoots 6*9 sheet film, and is
a press camera. mine has a broken shutter, and probably plenty more
that i havent had time to find out, as well as me not having any film
holders holders. how much would one expect it to cost to fix it or buy
replacement parts, because i want to use it, but i dont have a lot of
money.

those sound cool. i am probably going to look at a tlr, they fit more of my needs i think.

I just got into medium format photography, and while the holga did its
job well, and made me happy, i now need a camera with exposure
control, and a legitimate lense. i have an 35mm slr, but after going
medium format, i cant go back to 35mm. I was wondering if anyone had
any suggestions of decent medium format cameras on the very cheapie
around 200 for the whole shebang. i know it isnt a very realistic
thing, but i have limited funds. i dont feel that strongly about
format, as i am not that experienced, TLR, SLR, Rangefinder, all worth
a thought.
Thanks in advance

do places like cvs have the stuff to process 120 slides?, or even
regular film? i ask because i bout some expired velvia 100f to goof
around with on my holga, and i was hopeing i could get it developed
for chaep, as i am poor. i want to shoot as slide, but cnsidering its
a slide, in a holga, cross processing would be cool to
