I submitted it to the ImagePro help forum.

I posted a problem with the ImagePro site several days ago and still no answer. Is there anyone at PN who is responding to these posts on the ImagePro forum?

It all started when my father met my mother, fell in love, and . . .

It's a long story.

The IS version is my walk around lens and the IS is invaluable. Worth every extra penny.

Thanks for letting us know. And thanks for not posting a photo of you in your jammies.

Welcome to PN, Arun. This is a great resource for photographers of all levels and abilities. Be sure to check out any and all forums that interest you and remember . . . the more you contribute and participate, the more benefit you will receive.

I would consider Ape Case backpacks as well. Good value for the money.

Same problem here. Using FF 15.0.1 on Windows 7.

Mpix does a great job, but Costco is less expensive although the frame construction is not quite as good.

Jeff, you would just need to create a separate gallery for each event ("Jones Wedding", etc). At the moment however, there is no option for a photo book.

I'm surprised that Fine Art America has not been mentioned. Yes, it includes other forms of art, but the price is right ($30/yr) and it's becoming more popular.

Thank you , Josh. A welcome change.

Check out the many good books on the subject, including Harold Davis' Creative Black & White Photography.

I use the Sun Sniper and love it. I have not compared this to any others, though.

1. This may not be popular to the long-time members, but perhaps consider renaming the forum to something like, "Weekly Photo For Discussion", instead of POTW. The POTW title possibly suggests to newcomers that these photos represent the (judged) best submitted during the latest week.
2. Consider a separate forum for members to suggest portfolios or specific photos to be considered by the Elves for this forum. This is not intended to supplant the current process, but to just provide a broader & different(?) pool to choose from.
3. Provide a better explanation of the entire process by which the photos are selected. We know it's not random, but how are they actually selected? What criteria are used beyond the "we find this interesting"?
These are not major issues now, just a few minor suggestions. I find the current POTW to be mostly helpful as an educational resource, not withstanding the common pontificating and off topic rambling. And thanks for soliciting this feedback, Josh.

Gabriel, Starvy is absolutely correct. PN is the best of all the sites I have seen or joined. But remember, the more you contribute to discussions & critiques, the more benefit you will receive. Welcome!
