from my first roll of cross-processed film. What do you think? I
kinda like the look.

Taken with available light at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden.

I too wish I had a shot with the lower shelf showing, at least a little - unfortunately I wasn't thinking about it when I was there and noticed it immediately when I saw the result. Oh well :)
As for having that shot, I certainly did while there - there's even a photo of one!

Comments? Critiques? Thoughts?

Managed to catch this one as she was literally running circles around
me - not so easy to focus and compose while spinning! I wish the
background weren't so bright, but what do you think?

Not your typical street performer. Taken late at night under ambient
street lamps (no flash), pushed Tri-X to ISO 1600.

Does this need "more"?

This is a super cool idea. VERY original!

From my first foray into Black & White.

Thought and comments, if you please...

I'd appreciate comments and critiques about focus and DOF. Other
thoughts are just as welcome too. Thanks.

I guess the blue color comes from the combination of film and long exposure (this one was about 8 hours). The camera was low to the ground and shot angling upwards - I believe the shrubs you mention are the tops of some trees. This site was in the middle of nowhere so more stars were visible.

Taken at dusk on an obviously windy night. Too windy? Comments are
appreciated.

I like the clouds and the sharpness here, but the scene is way too "clumped" for my taste - nothing seems to stand out as the main subject and there is little seperation between the yuccas, making it seem overly busy.
-
Any thoughts? Thanks.

I took a bit of (red) color out of this in PhotoShop to try and get
more natural skin tone. How does it look? Other comments about this
photo will be much appreciated also. Thanks!
