Hello Graham - I like this one best. Nice work. Would really like to see this version in B&W as well.

Nice shot Cal. The color, the tones, the detail, and the composition. Is this bridge still in use?

Excellent subject / story and composition Ruud. Very sharp, clean B&W. - Joe

This image has captured my attention and holds it. It speaks volumes and would lend itself well to the imagination of any good story teller. The composition, the color, the sharpness ... nice job!

Nice Shot. Stands up very well. Might take out light spot just right of rail on tie inside left and just outside rail on tie upper right. Not sure. What do you think?
Excellent work! Regards - Joe

Hi Sherry - Thanks for your comments on my winter scene.
Of the two shots, I prefer this one. The detail and exposure are excellent in both but I find the color in this one is more natural. Have you considered a black & white version? In any case I think you should keep both. Nice work.
Best regards - Joe

Hello Peter - I'm stuck for an answer on this one now. I think the image is still a bit overexposed at the top of her nose. Once all is said and done, you might find that the original was as it should be. I'm keeping it in my favorites for now just in case.
I've also applied your suggestion to to my Bella Coola shot, and I think it works very well. Thanks again - Joe

Hello Audrey - Thanks for the rating on one of my images, which of course, led me here.
The Halted Train image would make a great stock shot when matched with the right message typed in the out of focus area. I would suggest you remove the dust marks from the sky as they take away from the overall quality. Nice work.

I like this effect very much. Zoom pan? Just one small adjustment that I think would lead the viewers eye directly to the subject's face would be to crop half way down the dark portion at the top of the image.

Hakan - A classic black & white. The composition is excellent and the details on the buildings and street are sharp. The people, their shadows, along with the correct exposure overall ..... Nice work.

Hello Stoica - This shot might look great in black & white as well.
Nice work! Regards - Joe

Hi Bob - I prefer the first two in the series and this B&W shot works best in my opinion. The composition is great as well. If you look at the sky from top to bottom though, you'll see some dark spots. And a couple more on the bottom portion of the steel plate. These can be removed easily to improve the image quality.
A great image overall - Regards - Joe
