I see no reason for only the foreground being sharp.

I love the softness of the blurred shapes this lens produces (film blurs w/ grain!). I liked the contrast with the detail in the metal parts of the wagon. But hey... to each his opinion. Thanks for sharing yours. Cheers. Audrey

Hello Audrey - Thanks for the rating on one of my images, which of course, led me here.

The Halted Train image would make a great stock shot when matched with the right message typed in the out of focus area. I would suggest you remove the dust marks from the sky as they take away from the overall quality. Nice work.
