Maybe the foreground is a bit on the dark side. With a ND grad. filter you could have solved that little problem.

It is a beautiful shot. Maybe a little on the bright side. And with a polarizer you could have intensified the colors a little bit -

I think the birch tree is too dominant and has nothing to do with "fall foliage" which is I think the point. For that it is just not enough of those beautiful color in that photo. The composition is quite fair, except that big white dominant tree LH, that is distracting the eye and keeps off looking to the rest of the picture.
