Tetons in Early Light

A very nice view of this mountains Gerald, with the fence at the first plane,giving compo to this shot. Congrats and greetings from Mexico.

Maybe the foreground is a bit on the dark side. With a ND grad. filter you could have solved that little problem.

In my opinion the foreground is right as it is, with a deep shadow, just to emphasize the peaks in light.

Thank you all for your comments and ratings. It doesn't take too much skill to get dramatic pictures of the Tetons. Its such a stunning place, one just has to get up early and be somewhere. I agree that the foreground could be a bit better exposed but I didn't have the forethought to use my split ND and I changed lenses right after this picture was taken.

Love the light in this one and the frost(?) in the fg. Split ND might have been tough here. Double-exposure/PS might be better.
