It is hard to tell by looking at this picture but these young girls are about 10-15 feet off the ground. They are only being supported by the strap around the neck of the girl on top. The girl on bottom is supported by the feet of the other girl. -

It makes me think of Noah's arc. It appears on top of a mountain, the mast is in the shape of a cross and the storm clouds are moving out. -

Becky and Pierre, thanks for your comments. This shot is actually a composite of 2 exposures of the same raw file. Since I was almost underneath the ballons they were not very well lit by the sun. So I set my exposure for the ballons which totally blew out the sky. I then developed the raw file to expose for the sky. -
Holly, I'm so glad you joined the club. I look forward to seeing your work. I have some ideas for next months topic but now I just need to find the time to do it. -

Mukund, This is a very nice capture. I think I prefer the color version over the black and white. I think the closed eyes of the female make the shot. -

Henri, This is a nice shot. The composition is quite interesting. The curves of the river lead you into the shot from the lower left to the upper center. The placement of the man on the lower left third and the shape of the canoe also lead your eye in from the right. The bridge and the trees serve as a boundry to push your eyes back into the shot.
