A little bleached for me (flash?) and to have had the eyes open would've made this shot perfect. I love the personality that comes through the shot though. Have you considered a B&W alternative?
-
Good exposure in difficult lighting conditions. Nice detail on the chairs and brickwork.
-
Nice work! Tell me, was this shot in front of the flames or was it an extract to a new background? If it's the latter then this is exemplary selection work
-
I'd consider a tighter crop on this and remove the pink wall. For me this clashes with and not compliments the woman. It's distracting to the eye
-
Beautifully atmospheric
-
Nice frame filling composition and excellent lighting. Well done

The only thing that let's this shot down for me is the focus. You've chosen foreground and the table is pin sharp. I would have chosen the girl in the hat to be closer to the focal point. Very very well done though. A vaguely Parisian feel in London!

I like the B&W shot more. It suits the subject at hand

Enough said...

I like the contrast of the buildings and that beautiful warm sky

I really like the contrast in this and the colour just works for me

Maybe consider losing the ear from the hairline down and bleach out the rest of the face with a gradient mask in Photoshop, mirroring the left side of the image.

Taken on a very very cold December night in Edinburgh. Comments

Taken through the glass at The London Aquarium ... handheld at ISO
800 ... it worked !!!

Excellent capture with the gull being underlit brilliantly. Very well done

I really love the sky and the muted reflections in the water... excellent capture

Comments please!

Love the clouds and the colours are so very vibrant. Well done!

Bill, this does was photographs should do and that's evoke memories. This shot fills me with the same wonder and melancholy that I had when I stood up there looking out and missing the WTC.

I rated your picture 'Tired' and decided to look at some of your other work. I like this too for similar reasons.

Like this a lot, especially the opposing perspectives of the building and the clouds
