Mastery, pure mastery of the digital image 7/7.

Great observation. I think the shot could have been bettered though with tighter framing and a shallower depth of field to throw out the background. I guess speed is of the essence with a shot like this though, so hindsight is a wonderful thing. In post-production, try to reduce the burning out of the victims wings... this distracts from the Hawk somewhat for me.

Beautiful sky Marina, the reflections on the lake are amazing... In my opinion this shot would be perfect if you crop out some of the foreground stones (about a quarter from the bottom of the picture) and leave this more of a panoramic type view. Still amazing as is though, well done.

Phil, I love the movement of the surf in this shot. Great exposure and composition 6/6.

Very well done Mucchio, great compostion 7/6.

Jennifer, In my opinion this is very good but has the potential to be awesome. With some careful masking in Photoshop and use of the Shadows/Highlights adjustment you could lft the foreground detail out of the picture without burning out the fantastic sky... well done as is 6/6.

Very nice composition Kevin. Almost ballet like in nature, there is a movement between the two trees that reminds me of dancing. I like the infra-red exposure too with strong contrast between the trees and the sky. Well done 7/7.

Bilal, outstanding timing on this shot. I love the expression on the older child. Very well done 7/7

Great detail in this shot and the composition works for me with the angle that you have chosen. 6/7.

Very fitting on this day of days. 5 years on and the memory is still strong. Lest we forget. Very moving composition, well done. This does what photo's should do.. evoke a memory whether good or bad.

Very nice indeed Paul, excellent exposure control and very fine foreground detail. Well done.

David, I can understand why you composed this shot the way you did... presumably to give foreground interest in the shape of the rock. However, I think this would have worked better if you had gone for more of that ominous sky in the shot and had the viaduct leading into the shot. This would have meant getting closer to the viaduct and shooting from more acute an angle. Nice exposure though with the ND Grad working well. Chris.

Enrique, this is just beautiful, I love the composition and the flare on the sun for me works very well. This shot has convinced me that I need some ND filters to progress in my own work.... Well done

The famous Blackpool Tower in North Western England. This shot is
taken during this years illuminations. The streaks of light in the
foreground are from a tram which is decorated with hundreds if not
thousands of lightbuls just for the event. Comments welcomed.
