Fred, Thanks for the reply and the comments as always. Yea that shadow, I so wish it wasn't there. This was a 5 minute shot for the musical Rent. I has to photograph the whole cast and had a room full of actors. If I had a little more time maybe (maybe) I could have dealt with it, in my mind it should look like the other eye. Yea its still very different for me.
The Skin, I understand what you are saying but this was an artistic choice on my part.
I shall try to get a bit more active on here, I kind of got photographically lost for a long while, shooting a lot of stuff I had no interest in and then I totally lost interest but I am getting back into it a bit more now and two of my friends have taken up photography so I have others to be active with.
So cool to hear from you Fred, don't know if you will swing by this comment.
Rich, good to hear from you also and thanks for the interest.

What an interesting little photo Janis. Did you know them or was it a total candid shot. It has a special moment feel and the slight glow really works. It has something special, which I knew what it was so I could bottle it and sell it.
Thanks for your kind words on my image, yep sure has been a long time since I was here.

Effective use of light and colours making an interesting shot

Without the bag and maybe seeing more of the stairs (not cropped so tight on the top) and you would have a very very powerful images IMO

Love the view point here and how the leg leads us to the rest of the image, the graphic on the wall behind also works well
